The April meeting of the Tea Ladies of the St. James Goose Creek Parish was held on Thursday, April 19 at 6:00.  The meeting was held at the Smokey Bones Restaurant on Rivers Avenue.  Subjects discussed included our possible participation in the Fall Festival, plans for a fun event, the date for our tea next year, the election of officers, and the upcoming audit.

We have had so much positive feedback about our tea.  We attempted to allow more time for participants to visit with each other, and we feel that we were successful at that.  The fashion show by the UDC was very well received, and we are so thankful that the UDC ladies and gentlemen agreed to provide our entertainment this year.  As usual, there were door prizes, raffle items, and silent auction items galore.  We would also like to thank all our wonderful sponsors.  We couldn't do it without you!

Our February 16 meeting was conducted to finalize plans for our tea on March 10.  We will not have another meeting until after the tea.

Our February 2 meeting of the Goose Creek Tea Ladies was held at Perkins Restaurant.  This was a planning sessin for our tea to be held on March 10.  We reviewed our list of things we felt we did well last year and those we wanted to change/revise/improve this year.

The January meeting of the Goose Creek Tea Ladies was held on Thursday evening, January 19 at 6:30 at Perkins Restaurant on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston.

The main topic of conversation was the planning for our upcoming tea and voting on the recipients of our annual donation(s).  We will meet twice in February to finalize the menu and check on the progress of our committees.
